Bath Time

Weston loves bath time! He kicks his legs and splashes like crazy. He wiggles around so much and ends up sideways every time. He is almost too big for his little bathtub so we need to get him a bigger one.

Solid Food

Since Weston is 4 months old Dr. Rogers said it is time to try solid food. So we have tried cereal and green beans and he doesn't like either one. He makes the funniest faces! He will reach for the spoon and help us put it in his mouth, but as soon as it touches his lips he shakes his head like it is the most disgusting thing in the world! We are going to try peas next and then carrots. I think he will like carrots because we let him suck on baby carrots since he is teething and he loves them. He makes the funniest noises like it is the best thing he has ever had!

Weston @ 12 Weeks

Whenever I start to talk or write about Weston the first thing that comes to mind is how fast time flies! I know in previous posts I have said that I can't believe he is a certain age...well I still feel that way, and I am sure I always will. It is so awesome to see how much he learns everyday. Every day he becomes more interactive and discovers something new.

He is trying desperately to suck on his thumbs, but he can't quite find them. Occasionally he will get one in his mouth, but then he forgets again. So most of the time he has his whole fist in his mouth and is covered in drool. He will suck on a pacifier, but not for long. I think he likes the sounds he makes when he sucks on his hand.

This week he has discovered his knees. I am anxiously waiting for him to discover his feet, so he is working his way down. When he is on his changing table he will hold on to his knees. So I know he will find his feet in no time.

Weston loves to snuggle and would prefer to be held while he sleeps.

Of course before I had Weston I said that I wasn't going to let him watch tv. However, as you can imagine there are moments when we need him to be distracted so we can do things like eat and clean. So we have let him watch a little tv. However he doesn't like cartoons very much, he would rather watch football or golf. He loves sports! As you can see below he loves to sit in his boppy on the ottoman and watch tv.

I can't believe Weston is already 2 months old!

I can't believe that our sweet baby is already 2 months old! It is so amazing to see him grow and develop. He smiles all the time! Weston's smile is one of my favorite things in the world (besides Tyler's dancing)! He smiles when we make funny faces at him, whisper, talk to him, and when we ask him what he is doing. He especially likes it when I make the fish face. He also loves to talk and he even yells sometimes.

When he wakes up in the middle of the night and I am trying to put him back to sleep, he will turn his head to the side and smile the biggest smile I have ever seen. I whisper "what are you doing, you need to go to sleep" and he smiles even bigger. It is just the funniest thing, and he does it every night.

I am so thankful for my sweet baby boy and husband. I feel so blessed and lucky to have such a wonderful family!

Shopping for Baby H

Today we went to Babies R Us to get more baby stuff. I never realized how much stuff we would need for the little man. Mr. Boone is not excited about all of the baby stuff!
